About The Spiritual Chronicle

A magazine of Tantra, Yantra, Mantra, Paranormal research, Aghor, Western Occult, Numerology, and Astrology — written to be read by people who take these traditions seriously.

What We Cover

The Spiritual Chronicle publishes across eight sections — Tantra, Yantra, Mantra, Paranormal, Aghor, Western Occult, Numerology, and Astrology — plus a standing Research Digest that summarizes real academic and scientific literature on each tradition, cited rather than invented. Every article carries a byline from that section's Research Team rather than a single personal name, reflecting how each piece is checked and edited before it runs.

We also run a live feed from Aghori Stories, and built-in tools — a Numerology Calculator and a Lucky Stone Calculator — so readers can apply what they're reading, not just read about it.

Editorial Approach

We treat these traditions the way a serious culture or religion desk would: primary sources where they exist, published research where it's relevant, and a clear line between traditional belief and scientific consensus when the two diverge — which they often do, especially in our Numerology and Astrology coverage. Five articles are free to any reader every month; a paid membership (₹108/month or ₹1,080/year) unlocks the full archive.

Maulikk Buch
About the Founder

Maulikk Buch

Journalist · Paranormal & Esoteric Researcher · Founder, The Spiritual Strategist

Maulikk Buch founded The Spiritual Chronicle after more than 25 years working as a journalist and, in parallel, as a researcher of esoteric and occult traditions. That dual background — investigative reporting on one side, decades of direct spiritual study on the other — shapes the magazine's editorial stance: engage traditional and esoteric subjects seriously, without dropping the skepticism and fact-checking of a working newsroom.

Buch's own spiritual training began at 84 Kutiya, the ashram in Rishikesh made famous by the Beatles' 1968 visit, where he was initiated by H.H. Maharshi Mahesh Yogi. He later trained under an Aghori guru in Varanasi, and has spent more than thirty years travelling to some of the subcontinent's major centers of tantric and esoteric practice — including Varanasi, Tarapith, Ujjain, Haridwar, Kamakhya, Gaya, Girnar, and Junagadh.

That study spans several distinct traditions rather than one: Sanatan Dharma and Vedic astrology, with a particular focus on Rahu, Ketu, Shani, and Mangal remediation; Tantra and Aghor practice; Vajrayana Buddhist mantra and meditation; and Western esoteric frameworks including numerology and angelic traditions. He is also the founder of Aghori Stories, a research-driven publication on Aghor tradition and practice, and works separately as a spiritual consultant through The Spiritual Strategist.

Alongside this, Buch's journalism career includes reporting bylines with outlets such as Ahmedabad Mirror, work as a public relations and crisis-communications consultant, and a mentorship role with NITI Aayog's Atal Innovation Mission, guiding early-stage founders in media and technology.
